The program combines a cloud-native infrastructure with Marqeta’s modern card issuing API, enabling Sunwest to offer a market-leading, bank-branded credit card program. Community banks like Sunwest are committed to supporting local businesses and neighbourhoods, and the Visionary Card Program is aimed at deepening customer relationships and attracting new business. Torpago provides the technology platform for the program, including end-to-end infrastructure and card issuing capabilities, while Marqeta’s API enables spend controls and card fulfillment. Sunwest is responsible for customer acquisition. The collaboration is expected to generate new income streams, attract deposits, and improve operating efficiency for Sunwest Bank.
