Sprout Social, Inc. has announced the promotion of Alan Boyce to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In his new role, Boyce will be responsible for overseeing Sprout’s global technology, engineering, IT, and compliance organizations. Aaron Rankin, the company’s co-founder, will continue to support the executive team and serve on the Board of Directors. Boyce has been with Sprout since 2010 and has played a central role in its development and growth. He has led the integration of Sprout’s three acquisitions and has been responsible for the expansion into social listening/analytics and API/technology integrations. According to Rankin, Boyce is the best person to lead Sprout in its next stage of growth.
