Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) has been named as the inaugural partner of the program, providing startups within DISG’s network with access to the program’s benefits.

Singapore has established itself as a prominent startup hub, home to around 4,000 tech startups and over 400 venture capital managers. Startup Genome ranks Singapore 8th globally as a favorable ecosystem for startups, particularly for its ease of doing business and access to top talent. The ongoing AI revolution presents new growth opportunities for startups in Singapore, with a potential gross value of up to $215 billion by 2035.

Sujith Abraham, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Salesforce ASEAN, stated that Singapore’s startup ecosystem offers many opportunities for startups to scale, innovate, and thrive. As AI continues to transform the business landscape, startups are seeking guidance, expertise, and access to trusted tools and technologies to fully capitalize on these opportunities. He added that the launch of the Salesforce Startup Program in Singapore comes at a crucial time, providing startups with the platform, tools, and community they need to succeed.

Chan Ih-Ming, Executive Director and Head of DISG, highlighted the importance of collaboration between multinational corporations (MNCs) and local startups in Singapore’s tech ecosystem. He stated that the collaboration with Salesforce will further strengthen this partnership and help Singapore startups unlock new growth opportunities. Sanket Atal, Senior Vice President and Head of Salesforce Startup Program, emphasized Salesforce’s commitment to support the region’s startup ecosystem and drive innovation. He stated that Singapore’s thriving ecosystem and favorable business environment make it an ideal country to roll out the program.

The Salesforce Startup Program in Singapore is the second of its kind, following the program’s launch in India in December 2021. Since its debut, the program has attracted participation from over 200 startups, including Yellow.ai and unicorns such as Darwinbox. Salesforce aims to bring local startups access to a thriving community and platform to reach global audiences and markets, playing a significant role in the region’s startup landscape.
